For individuals living with chronic illnesses, traditional workout programs often feel inaccessible, overwhelming, or even impossible to follow. Many mainstream fitness classes, including Pilates, lack modifications for those dealing with pain, fatigue, and mobility challenges. The goal of Achy 2 Active was to bridge this gap by creating an online Pilates program specifically designed for people with chronic conditions—one that would be gentle, effective, and empowering while fostering a supportive community.
To ensure Achy 2 Active successfully reached and supported individuals with chronic illnesses, the strategy focused on:
Community Engagement & Growth
Targeting a niche that was supported by very few providers allowed Achy 2 Active to see a great turnout for the programs.
We started this program with a larger portion of the budget focused on PPC, as we found better targeted keywords the budget was reduced to pave the way for SEO keywords.
Initially growth was slow in the first 4 months, after analyzing the results we were able to institute high level keywords from the PPC targeting that saw explosive growth from the SEO efforts.
The program funnels were designed to start with a free E-book or a low price challenge, 75% of the customers moved through 2 additional paid programs and into the subscription monthly plan
Customers loved the programs for its ease of use, gentle process and support group. 90% of customers that moved into the first paid program had reduced pain and increased mobility in their joints.
The Achy 2 Active logo effectively balances strength, transformation, and accessibility, perfectly aligning with the brand’s mission of helping individuals with chronic illnesses transition from pain to movement.
The Achy 2 Active logo is a strong visual representation of transformation, strength, and support, successfully embodying the brand’s mission of accessible wellness for those with chronic conditions. The contrasting color scheme and structured typography make it instantly recognizable, while the placement of the "2" as a bridge is a clever, subtle design choice that reinforces the program’s purpose.
The Achy 2 Active website isn’t just about delivering information—it’s about creating a safe, welcoming space for individuals who may feel left out by traditional fitness programs. Every UI/UX decision is made with compassion, usability, and ease-of-access in mind, ensuring that every visitor, regardless of ability, feels seen, supported, and ready to start their journey.
